Itīs been a while since i had my last english class at high school so i do not remember much. But i think my last memories are those days in which i used to sit at the front of the class with a partner who also knew english very much, and the funny thing is that the teacher made spelling mistakes all the time! It was really embarrasing for us, because we just look at each other and start laughing and raised our hands to tell the teacher something like: "excuse me, but I think youīre making a mistake over there, donīt you think?" This is just and example for you to make an idea of the level of teachers at the local high school. Furthermore, classes were always really really boring. And not only for those who studied english in private institutes, but for the entire class. I mean, we were always doing the same kind of exercises with stupid texts and silly questions like: "What is the name of the main caracter?", or "When was he/she born?", etc, etc.
What I want to say is that english classes at high school have been always worked with the same kind of exercises, the same expressions, the same questions... And i belive that no one can learn nothing in there.
